We Show Up
Once your booking is confirmed, we never cancel it — not for a smaller group, not for a better offer.
If we ever failed to show, you would get a full automatic refund to your card — not a voucher, not a negotiation — and we would still do everything we can to get you moving.
Fixed Price
The price you confirm is the price you pay — per vehicle, not per person, with tolls, parking, waiting and card fees included. It will not change on the day, and it will match your card statement to the cent.
If a surprise ever appears there, we refund the difference — no questions asked.
How we run every booking
- A printed name sign, confirmed in advance Your surname, exactly as you gave it — we tell you what the sign will say and where your driver will be standing.
- Your driver’s details before you travel Name, photo, mobile number, licence plate and car — and a published vetting standard: in-person interview, identity and vehicle check.
- Child seats and boosters guaranteed — and free The right seat for each child’s age and weight, confirmed in writing and fitted before pickup.
- Door to door means to the door Your driver loads every bag, offers an arm on the cobblestones, and never rushes you.
- Exactly four messages, and a human on the phone Confirmation, one reminder, your driver’s details, and an “I’m here” on the day — no newsletters, no noise.
- Fair cancellation, above the payment button Free until 48 hours before pickup, refund to your card. Cruise itinerary changed? Free at any time — just forward the notice.
- A small, planned calendar Online booking closes 24 hours before a Prague pickup, 48 hours before a pickup abroad. A confirmed yes from us is a real yes.
Questions travellers ask us
How does the hourly booking work?
You write the plan, we drive it. At booking you set the number of hours (minimum 4) and describe your itinerary in the booking form — pickup point, stops, timing. Your driver follows your plan, and spontaneous changes on the day are welcome within the booked hours.
What does the hourly rate include?
The car, your driver, fuel and city parking within the booked itinerary. It is the same all-in logic as every price we publish: no surcharges appearing on the day.
How do I pay? When is my card charged?
Pay securely by credit card. We never ask for bank transfers. Prices are published in both EUR and USD and your card is charged in the currency you choose — you pay exactly the price shown, with no conversion. At checkout you pay a 25% deposit or the full price; with a deposit, the balance is charged to the same card 48 hours before pickup — the moment free cancellation ends.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel free of charge until 48 hours before pickup — full refund to your card, not a credit. If your cruise line changes your itinerary — a different berth, low water, a new schedule — cancellation is free at any time; just forward us the notice.
Who are your drivers?
Prague locals who have lived here all their lives, speak English and drive these routes regularly. Every driver has passed an in-person interview and an identity and vehicle check — and you get your driver’s name, photo, mobile and licence plate before travel.
Can you take us somewhere not listed?
Often yes — routes beyond this list are available on request. Email info@praguestoryways.com or call us with your itinerary and we will quote a fixed price the same way.
